Discover our rain forest
The RDC is a centre for environmental education situated within the famous Kabili-Sepilok Forest Reserve, home of the orang-utans of the Sepilok Orang-utan Rehabilitation Centre.
With the rain forest just 20 miles away from Sandakan Airport, and only 24 km (14 miles) from Sandakan town, it is probably the most accessible rain forest in Sabah!.
Its primary function is to create public awareness and appreciation of the importance of conserving forests, as well as the sustainable use of forest resources.
